Churches in Venice

Everywhere, in the Venetian lagoon, you can find evidence of the splendor of the Serenissima. Among these, a place of honour is reserved for the churches in Venice.

The Basilica of San Marco, above all, with its marvellous bell tower, is one of the symbols of the city. Also the Church of the Holy Redeemer is wonderful as well as very important for the city, as the protagonist of one of the most important celebrations of the city: the feast of the Redeemer. 

Also worth mentioning are the Church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, the largest in Venice, the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, the Church of San Sebastiano, the Church of San Rocco and so on.
