Concert of the Immaculate Conception in the Basilica of Santi Giovanni and Paolo

December 8th Venice celebrates the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception with the traditional concert at the Basilica of Saints John and Paul. It is an event that is not only festive and festive, but above all beneficial: the proceeds from the offers collected during the evening, in fact, will be completely donated to the project of the AVSI Tents campaign in support of refugees from difficult areas of South Sudan, Syria and Kazakhstan . A choice that shows all the sensitivity of the organizers in such a complex and delicate social moment.

Now in its eleventh edition, in the setting of the magnificent Basilica, the Cappella Marciana, the patriarchal liturgical choir of San Marco will offer a fascinating journey of sacred polyphony, proposing harmonies linked to the tradition of Marian devotion throughout the resplendent centuries of Venetian music.
